"François Baron-Renouard made the choice of a language of his time, in osmosis with the authenticity of a formal and poetic approach which finds its equivalents between the real and the imaginary. Art is invention, as nature was by the most demiurge of surveyors. Like a number of modern artists since the revolution implemented by cubism, Baron-Renouard reinvented nature by resorting to a convergence of shapes and of colours.
